A Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon Sunday night after he allegedly used an ax to break down the apartment door of the woman he lived with.
According to the arrest report, Reymundo Robles, 39, broke down the woman's front wood door then half-swung the ax at the victim. The victim then reportedly locked herself in her bedroom.
Before breaking down the door, Robles had allegedly taken a rifle and walked outside, putting the rifle underneath his chin. The victim then locked the doors and windows. Robles banged on the windows before retrieving the ax, according to the report.
The windshield of a Jeep was also broken.
Bail was set at $20,000.
