‘Tall in the Saddle’ production is set

The Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park will present “Tall in the Saddle,” an old-fashioned melodrama production, at 5 p.m. July 13-14 on the park’s east lawn.

Written and directed by Dave Thomas, the production will continue the story of Rusty Hinges, the ranch owner from last summer’s production. This year’s cast includes Dianna and Dwight Borges, Kim Copel, Linda Diego, Mark Jensen, Mike Murphy, Ted Nagel, Carl Malkmus, Ron Sandstrom and Bill Sweeney. Linda Sandstrom will provide piano accompaniment.

Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children 16 and younger. Gates open at 4 p.m. Wine, beer, burgers and soft drinks will be sold, and the audience is welcome to bring picnic items, lawn chairs and blankets. Dogs will not be permitted. Ticket proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Friends of Dangberg Home Ranch.
