A panel of five Carson City manufacturers will present views on the economy and other issues at a business breakfast meeting at the Gold Dust West on July 17.
The meeting of Nevada Business Connections also will feature John Bullis, a CPA at Carson City’s Bullis & Co. and Nevada Appeal columnist, as moderator for the panel discussion in the resort and casino, at 2171 Highway 50 East.
The NBC group, which calls itself Nevada’s only private-sector economic-development initiative, will open the doors for the breakfast at 7:30 a.m. that Wednesday.
On the “power panel,” as NBC characterized the group, are the following manufacturing representatives: David Lamotte, Duro Manufacturing; Mark Thomas; Betra Manufacturing; Red Sexton, Jube Machine; Dave Bess, Carson Hi Tech; and Bob White, Taiyo-America.
The meeting starts at 8 a.m., and according to NBC will last just an hour.
The cost is $20 for members and students with valid Nevada System of Higher Education identification, and $30 for guests.
A table of eight may be purchased for a company and guests for $200.
People or groups interested in attending may contact NBC at kris@nvbizconnect.com; call Kris Holt, NBC executive director, at 775-771-5747, or send an email to ccnv@sbcglobal.net.
