Gov. Brian Sandoval has signed a memorandum of understanding with the governor of the state of Mexico on mutual trade interests.
Sandoval and an entourage of Nevada government and private business representatives are on a three-day trade mission in Mexico.
On Tuesday the governor’s office issue a statement saying Sandoval signed a memorandum with Eruviel Avila, the governor of the state of Mexico, pledging to work together on such issues as education, tourism, manufacturing and mining.
Sandoval is visiting Mexico with members of state and local economic development agencies, as well as higher education representatives and members of the business, legal and investment communities.
The trip is Sandoval’s third trade mission outside the country since he took office in January 2011.
