Obituary: Christopher Anthony Dobbs

Dec. 1, 1981 - June 7, 2013

Our beloved son and brother Christopher Dobbs left his worldly body on June 7, 2013 in Sparks, Nevada.

Christopher was born on December 1, 1981 in Gardnerville, Nevada. He graduated from Douglas High School

In 2000, during high school he worked at the McDonald’s in Minden, Nevada. In 2001, he started working for North Star in Reno, Nevada. He also spent a short time working for the State of Nevada Department of Corrections and then Dish Network. In 2009 he went to work for AFL Network Services where he was employed at the time of his death.

Chris loved to spend time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews and two dogs Bear and Monster.

He enjoyed the outdoors and spent time fishing, camping, hiking, and BBQing. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Nascar. He was always the first one to lend a hand and last to ask for help.

He is survived by his parents, Matthew Sr. and Michelle Dobbs of Gardnerville, Nevada and Pamela Cargill of Riverside, California. His brother and sister-in-law, Matthew Jr and Shacondra Dobbs; their three children Raschad, Cordelia, and Ariana of Carson City, Nevada. His brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Caitlyn Dobbs, four children Jacob, Narissa, Lexi, ang Paige of Carson City, Nevada. His grandmother, Helen Cassidy of Livingston, Montana, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John, and Ethel Dobbs; grandfather, Tom Cassidy, and his Aunt, Mickie Robinson.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at High Sierra Fellowship on Lucerne Street in

Minden, Nevada. Final arrangements entrusted to Walton’s Funerals & Cremations Gardnerville, Nevada.
