Sheriff’s Log: Carson City woman arrested on felony burglary warrant; bail is $20,000

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

SUNDAY

• 7:31 p.m.: A 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at Robinson and North Carson streets on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,000. Also, a 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as on two violation-of-a-suspended-sentence warrants. Bail was set at $7,000.

• 12:07 p.m.: A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of petit larceny. Bail was set at $250.

• 4:57 a.m.: Jacquelyn Kay Emm, 32, was arrested in the 800 block of Travis Drive on suspicion of first-degree domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

• 3:25 a.m.: A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 100 block of East Telegraph Street on suspicion of possession of marijuana and obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $900.

SATURDAY

• 12:02 a.m.: Sarah Jane Banta, 51, was arrested at East Proctor and North Stewart streets on suspicion of DUI first offense. Bail was set at $1,000.

• Tara Leann Steinman, 40, of Carson City was arrested in the 3600 block of Sherman Lane on a felony burglary warrant. Bail was set at $20,000.

• 5:01 a.m.: A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 400 block of South Saliman Road on suspicion of obstruction of a peace officer and violation of release conditions. Bail was set at $750.

FRIDAY

• A 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 200 block of North Carson Meadow Drive on suspicion of violation of a protection order. Bail was set at $1,000.

• 9:31 p.m.: Raing Angelo Syyan, 48, was arrested in the 150 block of Sharon Drive on suspicion of first-degree domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

• 7:32 p.m.: A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 500 block of Evalyn Drive on a warrant for possession of an ounce or less of marijuana, as well as on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and parking in a fire lane. Bail was set at $525.

• 11:33 a.m.: A 19-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on Woodside Drive on three contempt-of-court warrants. Bail was set at $3,835.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies, violent crimes and DUIs.
