Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Carson woman arrested on suspicion of felony burglary

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

SUNDAY

• 1:23 a.m.: Rene Garcia-Montez, 21, of Carson City was arrested in the 2200 block of East Long Street on suspicion of felony parole/probation violation, child neglect and obstructing. No bail was set on the felony count.

• 5:51 p.m.: A 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested at Carson Street and Fleishman Way on suspicion of driving with an expired registration and no proof of insurance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,625.

• 2 p.m.: A 20-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 3100 block of U.S. Highway 50 East on suspicion of no turn signal, no license in possession, no proof of insurance and obstructed windshield. Bail was set at $675.

• 9:55 p.m.: A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1700 block of North Edmonds Drive on suspicion of domestic battery, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $4,600. Also arrested was a 24-year-old Carson City woman, on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,000.

• 3:07 p.m.: A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested at Brown Street and Edmonds Drive on a contempt-of-court warrant. Bail was set at $340.

SATURDAY

• 9:12 p.m.: A 33-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 1000 block of South Carson Street on contempt-of-court and criminal-contempt warrants. Bail was set at $6,191.

• 11:04 a.m.: Rhiannon Rae White, 24, of Carson City was arrested in the 200 block of Hackamore Way on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and arrest of probationer. Bail was set at $5,500.

• 9:10 a.m.: Nhat Truong Ly, 32, of Carson City was arrested at Fifth Street and Country Village Drive on suspicion of hit-and-run, failure to maintain lane, use of a cellphone while driving and failure to use due care. Bail was set at $302.

• 9:57 a.m.: A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested at East Fifth Street and South Harbin Avenue on a contempt-of-court warrant. Bail was set at $3,000.

• 11:19 p.m.: A 34-year-old Sparks man was arrested at Sixth and Carson streets on three failure-to-appear traffic warrants, driving with a suspended driver’s license, no current insurance and speeding. Bail was set at $4,195.

• 8:20 p.m.: A 20-year-old Schurz man was arrested at the Carson City Jail on a contempt-of-court warrant. Bail was set at $3,000.

• 7:20 p.m.: A 25-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was arrested at Sixth and Carson streets on a failure-to-appear warrant. Bail was set at $565.

• 4:22 p.m.: A 50-year-old Carson City man was arrested near mile marker 1 on Highway 28 on a warrant, as well as on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and suspended registration. Bail was set at $895.

FRIDAY

• 7:40 p.m.: Monica Liza Escobedo-Garcia, 18, of Carson City was arrested in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of felony burglary and arrest of probationer. Bail was set at $25,500.

• 11:50 a.m.: A 44-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 1500 block of North Carson Street on an indecent-exposure warrant. Bail was set at $5,000. Also arrested was a 32-year-old Carson City man, on a contempt-of-court warrant. Bail was set at $500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies, violent crimes and DUIs. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of people committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
