CARSON CITY, Nev. — Nevadans and visitors with the urge to take down the Silver State’s biggest game have a few more days to purchase raffle tickets for the “hunt of a lifetime.”
The Nevada Dream Tag gives hunters wider rein at trophy-caliber antelope, California bighorn sheep, mule deer, desert bighorn sheep or elk. Hunts for those animals are usually restricted by limited windows of time within the season and geography specific to each tag.
Proceeds will go to Nevada’s wildlife management efforts. The purchase deadline is Saturday.
Each sportsman must get a “Resource Enhancement Stamp” for $10 with a $2 processing fee, and then is free to purchase an unlimited number of raffle tickets for $5 each with 50-cent transaction fee per ticket.
Tickets are available at nvdreamtag.org.
