Wendy Joy Vincent (Kwapich-Mossi), was taken from her family tragically, too soon in her young life, on June 11, 2013. Wendy was born in Reno, Nevada on January 21, 1973 to Elliott and Linda Vincent. Wendy attended schools in Reno and Tucson, AZ. The family moved to Fallon in 1983 and Wendy finished her years at the Jr High, graduating from Churchill County High School in 1991. She also attended WNCC. Wendy was very involved in sports during her school years, softball being her favorite. She was a 4-H member since the age of 10 with her horse, Neet Amir. Wendy attended college in NY, receiving her degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician . She worked for a time in NY and then came back to Nevada, working in Fallon and Reno for different Vet Clinics. Wendy took a job with Henry Schein/Butler which sold veterinary supplies. She worked there for 11 years, winning numerous award for her outstanding work.
Wendy lived in Fernley for the last year and a half, she had just recently returned to Fallon. Wendy was a very caring, loving person, she was a super mother, her children were her life. She was the coach for her sons baseball and football teams. She loved horses, archery, shooting, hunting and fishing, taking pictures, scrapbooking and keeping up with her friends on face book.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clayton Andersen and Duane and Helen Schottel. Wendy is survived by her son, Klayton Kwapich; daughter, Karlyn Mossi; parents, Elliott and Linda; brother and sister-in-law, Dustin and Kristina Vincent of Elko, NV; grandmother, Joy Andersen of Manhattan, KS.; numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Wendy’s Life was held on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at The Gardens Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gardens Funeral Home, 2949 Austin Highway Fallon, NV. 89406 775 423-8928
