Jim Wilson of Century 21 Jim Wilson Realty has been awarded the Emeritus Award from the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors. The honor is awarded to real estate professionals who have been a member of the National Association of Realtors, Realtor-Associate or a combination of both for a cumulative period of 40 years or more.
Wilson has been a licensed Realtor and member of the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors since 1965. He also has served as president of the Sierra Nevada Association twice and received the Circle of Distinction Award eight times. He served in the United States Army for 28 years and retired in 1991 with the rank of Lt. Colonel.
Wilson has been a resident of Carson City for over 50 years and is a graduate of Churchill County High School and the University of Nevada, Reno. He has three sons, Jim Jr., Steve and Jesse Wilson. Jim and his wife, Carol, are also loyal supporters of Advocates Against Domestic Violence.

Chorley to speak on business and personal growth
Clara Chorley of Clarity Unlimited will feature at the eWomenNetwork meeting from 5 to 8:15 p.m. March 20 at the Hidden Valley Country Club, 3575 E. Hidden Valley Dr. in Reno. Informal networking begins at 4:30 p.m.
Chorley’s research has resulted in T.U.R.N., a four-step process for entrepreneurs. Participants will learn how to leverage intuition for maximum business and personal growth.
Chorley is the author of the book “T.U.R.N.: Step Into Yourself, the One You Secretly Long to Become” and has been featured in the documentary film, “Achieve Your Ultimate Success.”

Enrollment open for building women career fair
The Western Apprenticeship Coordinators Association will present a free building women career fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 15 at the TMCC/IGT Applied Technology Center, 475 Edison Way in Reno.
Participants will mix cement, fuse a pipe, operate a crane, learn about qualifying for building trade apprenticeship programs and more. The City of Reno’s Public works, electricians, ironworkers, NV Energy, operating engineers, painters and allied trades, plasterers, cement masons, plumbers, pipe fitters, sheet metal, Truckee Meadows Water Authority and TMCC’s Automotive, Machining and Energy Technology programs will be represented.
Women are asked to wear pants and closed-toe shoes and arrive at 8:30 a.m.
