The Lady Wave swimmers are coming into form.

Fallon won its second straight dual meet with a 133-100 win over Lowry on Friday in Reno. The boys, meanwhile, struggled against the larger Buckaroos as Fallon fell, 133-60.

The Lady Wave, however, were the deeper team as Fallon took first and second place in four events. Alex Lynch and Tina Anderson kick started the meet with a 1-2 finish in the 200-yard freestyle. Lynch dominated with a time of 2 minutes, 15.47 seconds, while Anderson (2:38.12) nipped Lowry’s Emma Kraca by less than four-tenths of a second.

Sam Martin, Katrina Ward and Addyson Harmon swam against an empty field in the 200 individual medley, with Martin (2:24.34) winning by about 25 seconds over Ward.

Martin and Ward, with a third-place assist from Lea Brown, swept the 100 butterfly, another event Lowry did not place a swimmer.

In the 100 free, meanwhile, Lynch (1:03.19) and Lyndsey Thurston (1:06.12) blew past a deep field for a 1-2 finish. Josie Bekiares placed fifth with a time of 1:17.07.

Thurston also took second in the 50 free (29.21), while Sierra Bivens fell short to Karen Esparza by less than one second in the 500 free. Anderson, meanwhile, also placed second in the 100 breaststroke.

As for the relays, the Lady Wave won the 200 medley and 400 free, while the 200 free team took second.

The boys team, meanwhile, struggled to capture points against the deeper Lowry squad. Despite being outnumbered, Keith Grimes won the 50 free easily and the 100 fly, which Lowry did not compete. Kyle Grimes (2:37.07) and Garrett Snooks (3:21.87) placed first and third, respectively in the 200 IM. Grimes added a win in the 100 backstroke (1:11.22).

Fallon placed second in the 200 medley and 200 free relays and did not field a team in the 400 free relay.
