FBI, Reno police seek downtown bank robber

RENO, Nev. — Reno police and the FBI are looking for a suspect in a downtown bank robbery.

Police say the white male between 35 and 40 years old didn’t show a weapon. But he handed a note to a female teller announcing a robbery when he walked into the Nevada State Bank at 1 W. Liberty Street across the street from the federal courthouse about 11:30 a.m. Friday.

The suspect is described as approximately 5 foot, 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black Chicago White Sox baseball hat with “Sox” in white lettering on the front. He was in a white long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the left chest, and sunglasses.
