Sen. Ben Kieckhefer, R-Reno, has been selected as one of 24 elected officials nationwide to participate in the Aspen Institute’s Aspen-Rodel Fellowship in Public Leadership for 2014.
The fellowship, established in 2005, involves officials who have won recognition for commitment to effective and principled governance, according to a news release. The fellowship involves the institute’s core mission of fostering leadership based on enduring values and providing a nonpartisan venue for dealing with critical issues, the release states.
