The Churchill County Commissioners will meet Thursday at 8:15 a.m. at the County Administration building, 155 N. Taylor St.
The commissioners will consider or take possible action regarding the following agenda items:
Review secured log changes pursuant to Nevada Revised Statues.
Review a resolution to authorize the clerk/treasurer to create a bank account with First Independent Bank of Nevada.
Review repairs to Western Nevada College’s parking lot to include patching and a slurry seal.
Appoint representatives to the Cemetery Board and Parks and Recreation Commission.
Examine change of meeting dates in November, January and April.
Approve a renewal license from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.
Review an application for sending site and transfer of development rights for separate properties located at 5455 Testolin Road and 425 E. Corkill Road.
Approve application for funding from Churchill County to support a community event or program.
Review a letter to Chancellor Dan Klaich and Regent Ron Knecht of the Nevada System of Higher Education requesting that Churchill County be included in the selection process for a new WNC president.
