Carson City Road Report for Oct. 14-20

The following applies to Monday through Oct. 20:

South Carson Street will be reduced to two lanes in each direction between U.S. Highway 50 West and Snyder Avenue from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday and Tuesday due to continued work on the freeway project.

Proctor Street will be closed weekdays between Carson and Curry streets due to utility work. Detours will be signed.

The following roads will be closed between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday due to utility work. Only local-resident access will be allowed:

Mayflower Way between Nye and Sherman lanes.

Kit Sierra Way between Nye and Sherman lanes.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the outside westbound lane of Fairview Drive will be closed near the interchange with Interstate 580.

The intersection of Valley Street and Caroline Street will be closed during daytime hours due to utility work. Detours will be signed.

There will also be work on Musser Street near Valley Street, but no delays are expected as the work will take place on the shoulder and there will not be lane closures.

Curry Street will be closed between Rhodes Street and Lake Glen Drive beginning Monday, October 28, at 7:00 a.m. through Monday, November 4, at 8:00 a.m. Detours will be signed.
