Free legal help offered Saturday in Carson City

Volunteer Attorneys for Rural Nevadans is holding a free legal aid fair Saturday in Carson City.

Lawyers will be available in the Sierra Room in the Community Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will answer questions about a variety of legal issues, such as family law, bankruptcy, wills and estates, government benefits and immigration.

Bilingual staffers will be available. VARN hosts the legal aid fair every year to coincide with Domestic Violence Awareness Month and National Pro-Bono Celebration Week.
