School: Carson High
Year: Senior
Sport: Soccer
Q: What is your favorite sport to watch on TV and why?
A: I would have to say soccer, because I love watching it with my teammates and getting super stoked when the team does an awesome combination play or scores, I can relate to the excitement.
Q: What are your feelings about “dress guidelines” at the high school?
A: I am personally grateful that we didn’t get uniforms, but I don’t feel like the school should worry about it as much as they do. I mean in high school they tell us they are preparing us for college and the real world, and there isn’t a dress code for either of those places. As young adults we should be able to know what is appropriate for the school environment. Other than that, I’m pro for expressing yourself.
Q: What is your favorite sports movie?
A: Most definitely “She’s the Man”. “Ya know bruh”.
Q: What sport would you like to see offered at the high school level?
A: I think they should add Ping-Pong. It’s more intense than you think.
Q: If you could pick one place in the world to vacation, where would it be?
A: I’d pick the Lost City of Atlantis, because if it’s that hard to find, it has to be pretty awesome. But, if we’re being realistic, I’d have to say Fiji.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Sushi, and real tacos from the taco truck, not like Taco Bell.
Q: What is the last non-academic book you read?
A: “Runner.”
Q: What class would you like to see offered at your school?
A: I’d like to see a fashion design class because I’m really into that stuff.
Q: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college and what will you study?
A: I plan on going to Southern California for school, and I also plan to play soccer. I plan to major in business and fashion design.
Q: Who is your favorite pro athlete?
A: I’d say Abby Wambach because she has the same intensity and passion for the game that I do.
