Lady Wave 6th after 2 tourneys

After two tournaments, the Fallon girls golf team sits in sixth place in the Northern Division I-A team standings.

Leading the way is Lowry with 18 points followed by Elko (16), Fernley (14), Spring Creek (11) and South Tahoe (11). Dayton is seventh with six points.

Individually, Fernley’s Brittany Evans leads the way with a 74.5 overall average. Teammate Hope Stillmock is sixth with 88.5.

For Fallon, 2012 state qualifier Carissa Parsons leads the Lady Wave with a 100.5 average and is 13th overall. At No. 19 is Sara Evans (106), No. 30 Tabitha Park (119.5), No. 32 is Angela Shunney (130.5), No 33 Viviane Ugalde (132.5) and No. 34 is Shelby Neidigh (139).

Fallon’s next tournament is at Spring Creek on Sept. 18.
