The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is hosting its annual “Wetlands and Wings” youth waterfowl workshop and hunt on Saturday at Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge.
Children ages 10-15 can participate and youths over 12 must provide a youh apprentice hunt or regular license, a hunter information program number and state duck stamp.
The program is free and concludes Sept. 27-21 with a workshop and sleepover followed by a mentored waterfowl hunt at 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 28. The cost is free and applications must be delivered to the USFWS by noon on Friday.
