Lunch Time Auction

In the early 1900s, fairs had lunch auctions where the men could bid on single women with packed lunches. The Cancer Warriors for Central Nevada would like to bring that back redneck style during the Redneck Shindig. The committee would like to have single redneck bachelors and bachelorettes volunteer to be auctioned with a lunch.

The volunteers will pack a redneck lunch (alcohol free) or use a donated lunch, dress up in their best redneck garb and be auctioned to the highest bidder. The winner would get to enjoy the company of the redneck and eat the lunch on the fairgrounds. The money from this and the other activities that day will go toward helping two local cancer patients.

Mexican Feast Fundraiser

The Mexican Feast will wrap up the day-long shindig. This dinner will be tacos and enchiladas with rice and beans; horchata will be served for the drink.

The dinner is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 if purchased before the event. At the door the dinner will be $12 for adults and $7 for children under 12. For questions contact Tiffany at 775-629-2629 or Yessy at 775-217-3978.
