The complex that includes the Nevada National Guard headquarters and Emergency Management operations center was locked down briefly Thursday after a report that an intruder had entered.
Guard spokesman Dennis Fournier said a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt was seen climbing over the fence about 7:30 a.m. The landscaping crew that witnessed that didn’t report it until nearly 11 a.m., he said.
At that point, Fournier said, the facility was locked down and security teams conducted a sweep of the buildings, including the joint operations center.
No intruder was found, and the center reopened for business after about 20 minutes.
