The Abbi Agency, an award-winning digital engagement firm specializing in public relations, social media and marketing, is merging with Boost Creative Services to offer clients on both a local and national level a full suite of integrated marketing services.
The two companies, now known as The Abbi Agency Powered by Boost, work with clients including Chico, Calif.-based Odyssey Teams, well-known oncology and hematology practice Reno Oncology, renowned steel fabricator Tutto Ferro, and the award-winning Highway 95 campaign.
The Abbi Agency, with offices in Reno and Las Vegas, is owned and operated by Northern Nevada public relations professional Abbi Whitaker, a graduate of Churchill County High School. A veteran of international media campaigns for some of the nation’s largest real estate, tourism and business-to-business companies, Whitaker thrives on a passion for media relations and emerging trends.
Ronnie Parker, creative director for Boost Creative Services is a long-time artist schooled in the fine and graphic arts. With a solid understanding of visual aesthetics and the history behind them, Parker prides himself on offering fresh concepts that drive results for clients including Wells Fargo, Mt. The two industry pros come together in a joint effort to provide clients with the array of communications tools that are needed in today’s business environment.
“Content marketing and consumer education is the new wave of PR,” said Whitaker. “To accomplish this effectively, a creative portfolio is a must-have. An experienced design team like that at Boost Creative is an absolute necessity in order to create a line-up of offerings such as e-books, infographics and digital campaigns and we absolutely look forward to the new projects we can tackle by working together.”
Parker, with more than 20 years in the advertising and creative industry, also looks forward to expanding his portfolio of offerings.
“With the way the communications industry has evolved over the last decade, agencies must be able to offer a full arsenal of tools to clients that includes creative services, PR, social media and marketing,” said Parker. “In this digital age, PR and creative go hand-in-hand.”
Whitaker and Parker look forward to using their talents to acquire work locally and regionally, and competing for accounts in larger cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York.
