Two Carson City businesses failed the compliance checks Friday conducted by the sheriff’s office to enforce underage drinking laws.
Of the 37 establishments checked, Terrible’s/Chevron, at 4340 S. Carson St., and West Side Pour House, 110 Telegraph St., both sold alcohol to juveniles without checking their identification.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office routinely conducts the checks with grant money received from the Nevada Juvenile Programs Justice Office.
