The seniors citizens of Douglas County, Young At Heart and the Douglas County Senior Center would all like to sincerely thank the Carson Valley Sertoma Club for its recent generous contribution of $6,041.92 to the senior center’s hot soup program.
Hot soup is served at Douglas County Senior Center at approximately 11 a.m. every weekday and is an essential element of the senior nutrition program. These Sertoma funds were raised at its all-you-can-eat tri tip and crab feed held at Saint Gall Catholic Church on Feb. 15.
Sertoma has supported this hot soup program, which is sponsored by Young At Heart, for the last five years. Thank you again, Sertoma, for your generosity and commitment to the senior hot soup program.
