The San Francisco-based Celtic rock band Tempest will bring its Irish roots and reels and Scottish and Scandinavian ballad-laced tunes to Minden’s CVIC Hall at 7 p.m. May 9.
The group was founded by its front man and Oslo native Lief Sorbye, who plays a double-necked electric mandolin, among other instruments.
Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door; and $5 for students with ID and children. Drinks will be provided by Tahoe Wine and Bistro.
