Smokey passed away peacefully at home of natural causes. He was preceded in death by Pat, his wife of 67 years. He is survived by his brother Tony, his daughters, Patty and Sue, their husbands, Kaare and Darrell, four grandsons, Paul, Michael, Lief and Alrik and a great grandson. Sigfried. He lived happily in Carson City for 44 years. He was known around the area for buying and selling records and recording local and visiting jazz musicians. A private family memorial service was held at his home on Sunday.
