The following information applies to the period of Dec. 8-14:
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, Carson Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction at the intersection with Spear Street.
Beginning the afternoon of Wednesday, Dec. 10, through the evening of Thursday, Dec. 11, there will be no parking on the west side of Curry Street between Telegraph Street and Proctor Street.
There will be work primarily in the shoulder on E. Fifth Street from Country Village Drive to Parkland Avenue and on Ruth Street between E. Fifth Street and Jerry Lane from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
Work will continue weekdays on the sidewalk along Nye Lane between Northgate Lane and Hot Springs Road and on Northgate Lane between Nye Lane and Hot Springs Road. The street will be open, but there will be parking restrictions.
The following traffic impacts are expected due to utility work.
There will be a lane shift on N. Valley Street at the intersection with William Street Monday through Thursday.
There will be lane closures with flagger controls on Lexington Avenue just north of Potomac Place.
On Tuesday, Dec. 9, and Wednesday, Dec. 10, there will be shoulder work on the north side of Cabrolet Drive near the intersection with Chaise Drive.
The following sidewalk closures are scheduled to occur beginning Tuesday, Dec. 9, through Friday, Dec. 12:
The west side of Carson Street between Proctor Street and Telegraph Street.
The north side of Proctor Street between Carson Street and Curry Street.
On Saturday, Dec. 13, Telegraph Street will be closed between Curry Street and Division Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for an event.
