Obituary Delward (Del) G. Reed

March 31, 1928 - January 28, 2014

Born in Grandfield , Oklahoma , Delward G. Reed beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, kind neighbor & friend and much more to many others went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014. Del passed away in the tranquility of his home at the age of 85 in Minden , Nevada where he relocated after retiring from Lockheed Missiles & Space Co. in Sunnyvale , CA in 1994. Del ‘s family wishes to acknowledge all the love and care provided by his in-home caregivers Palolo and Paea over the last year of his life, and express sincere appreciation to the nurses and management staff at Saint Mary’s Hospice of Reno, Nevada. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation in honor of Del be made to Saint Mary’s Hospice of Reno, Nevada. Arrangements by FitzHenry’s Funeral Home in Carson City, Nevada and private burial to be held at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden, Nevada.
