Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on felony fugitive-from-justice warrant

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:

TUESDAY

9:08 a.m.: A 22-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 2400 block of South Carson Street on a failure-to-appear traffic warrant. Bail was set at $1,000.

A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 3200 block of North Carson Street on a contempt-of-court warrant. Bail was set at $172.

2:40 p.m.: Kermit Leed Kinchelor, 52, of Carson City was arrested at Cochise Street and Appion Way on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Bail was set at $10,000.

4:04 p.m.: Rex Kevin Warren Jr., 31, was arrested at Sherman Lane and Poole Way on a felony fugitive-from-justice warrant, as well as warrants for domestic battery and contempt of court. No bail was set for the felony count. A 26-year-old Dayton man also was arrested, on an arrest-of-probationer warrant. Bail was set at $3,000. In addition, a 22-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of having a suspended out-of-state driver’s license and speeding, as well as on three failure-to-appear traffic warrants and a criminal contempt warrant. Bail was set at $2,222.

7 p.m.: A 54-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violating a restraining order. Bail was set at $1,000.

2:17 p.m.: A 51-year-old Fernley woman was arrested at Appion Way and Cochise Street on suspicion of failure to yield right-of-way on a left turn, driving with a suspended license and possession of a hypodermic device. Bail was set at $1,540. Also arrested was a transient, on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies, violent crimes and DUIs.
