Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Feb. 6. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

B & E Catering, 1020 Mountain St., scored 100 points.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church, cafeteria, 1837 N. Mountain St., 100 points.

Bordewich Bray Elementary School, cafeteria, 110 S. Thompson St., 100 points.

Carson City School District Central Warehouse, West Telegraph and Richmond streets, 100 points.

Carson Middle School, cafeteria, 1140 W. King St., 100 points.

Daisy’s Store, 3259 U.S. Highway 50 E., 100 points.

Fritsch Elementary School, cafeteria, 504 Bath St., 100 points.

Jacksons, 1615 E. Fifth St., 100 points.

Jimboy’s Tacos, 2190 U.S. Highway 50 E., 100 points.

Pioneer High School, cafeteria, 202 E. Corbett St., 100 points.

Terrible’s, 4640 S. Carson St., 100 points.

Del Taco, 3780 U.S. Highway 395, 99 points. Some refrigerators and the walk-in freezer were not provided with thermometers in addition to the dial thermometer provided on the unit.

El Charro Avitia, bar/lounge, 4389 S. Carson St., 98 points. Bottom shelves inside several reach-ins were not clean. There was mold growth in the floor sink draining the beer keg reach-in.

Sushi Delight, 111 E. Telegraph St., 98 points. Biofilm buildup was found on the soda machine’s speed gun.

Ming’s, bar/lounge, 2330 S. Carson St., 100 points.

Ming’s, 2330 S. Carson St., 98 points. Found an opened can of food stored in a reach-in, repeat violation. Frozen fish were not covered in the walk-in freezer, and some boxes of food were stored directly on the floor in the walk-in freezer.

Mom & Pop’s Diner, 401 S. Carson St., 97 points. There was no certified food handler on duty.

El Charro Avitia, restaurant, 4389 S. Carson St., 96 points. Improper cooling of plastic 5-gallon containers of covered foods in the walk-in, repeat violation, corrected on site. Two large steel kettles of tomato-based sauces, covered with butcher paper, were being cooled with ice wands in the kitchen. Cooled foods in the walk-in were not covered. Unpasteurized shell eggs were found stored above boxes of produce in the walk-in. The can opener was not clean. The seams in the deflector shield of the main ice machine needed better cleaning to remove biofilm.

Yang’s Kitchen, 111 E. Telegraph St., 93 points. Hand-wash sinks were blocked and used for purposes other than washing hands. Various food items were found outside of original containers without proper labels and dates. The handles of the reach-in refrigerators had buildup of food debris. The majority of the baffles above the cook line were not in place, corrected on-site.

Los Caporales Supermarket, 1621 E. Highway 50, Suite G, 82 points. There was no hot water available at the hand sink or the three-compartment sink. The hand sink was blocked with a pot of sauce and several empty soda cans and snack wrappers, corrected on-site. There were two unlabeled chemical spray bottles under the three-compartment sink, corrected on-site. There was no thermometer inside the three-door reach-in. A handle was broken on the reach-in. There was no soap or paper towels at the hand sink, corrected on-site.
