The second County Commission meeting of February will be conducted today at 1:15 p.m. at the Churchill County Administration Building chambers, 155 N. Taylor St.
Among the items commissioners will discuss and that are up for possible action include the following:
Consideration and possible action regarding update of current activates, plans, or actions related to the Bureau of Land Management’s Carson City District.
Consideration and possible action regarding approval of request for funding and approval of $5,000 match for a $26,840 grant for water right dedication database through Carson Water Subconservancy District.
Consideration and possible action regarding the Churchill Animal Protection Society (CAPS) requests the third quarterly installment of $5,000 of the $20,000 allocated for FY 2013-2014.
Consideration and possible action regarding request for funding from Susan C. Haas, executive director of the Nevada Rural Counties RSVP Program Inc.
Consideration and possible action regarding request for extension of time for submittal of a parcel map pursuant to Bill 2010-A, Ordinance 103, appurtenant to the amended tentative map for Skyridge Estates, Phase 5 and 6.
Consideration and possible action regarding request for extension of time for recordation of parcel map (APN: 008-2-29, TCID#07-07) by Suncrest Meadown/Victor Ventures Inc. pursuant to Bill 2010-B, Ordinance 103.
Consideration and possible action regarding approval of use county-owned surface water rights by Fallon Golf Course.
Consideration and possible action regarding change of date of the second regular monthly meeting scheduled for April 16, 2014.
Consideration and possible action regarding fee proposal from Kafoury, Armstrong and Company for the audit of Churchill County for the years ending June 30, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
