Fallon Police are looking for a missing 14-year-old girl who was never returned home to her mother Saturday night after seeing her father on a planned visit.

FPD Capt. Ron Wenger said in a press release that the girl’s mother allowed her to visit her father, Inshan “Shan” Ross. He said the father was trying to reconnect with his daughter. The girl’s mother Stacey Bowles, has never been married to Ross, but she agreed to allow Ross to visit with the girl for a set time. Ross reportedly picked the child up at Bowles home.

“Bowles reported to police that the child was not returned at the prescribed time and that she had been in contact with Ross who indicated that he would not return the child,” Wenger said.

Wenger said FPD has also asked the Reno Police Department to check out several motels where the child and her father may be staying. According to Wenger, the girl is Caucasian, 5-foot, 80 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, unknown clothing. Ross is described as a Caucasian male who is 6-feet tall and weighs 236 pounds. He has black hair and hazel eyes. Wenger said Ross may be driving a silver 1990’s model Honda Accord with unknown California plates possibly registered to Inshan or Jaime Dissette.

If individuals have any information regarding this child custody incident, they are to contact the Fallon Police Department at 775-423-2111 or any law enforcement agency.
