Gary Joseph Beverage, beloved husband, father, son, grandson, brother and friend passed away in Lemoore, CA on December 29, 2013. He was 35 years young. Gary, known by all who knew and loved him as “Little Gary” was born July 17, 1978 in Redwood City, CA to loving parents Gary and Melanie Beverage. Little Gary was 4 years old when he and his family moved to Carson City, NV. Gary was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Mary Patricia Bauer and Fraternal Grandfather, Albert Lowell Beverage. He is survived by his wife, Erin Lesley (Graham) Beverage. They were married on September 27, 2008, and they had one beautiful son, Gavin Joseph Beverage, who was born on April 12, 2011. He is also survived by his parents, Gary and Melanie Beverage of Carlsbad, CA, sister Rochelle DeSarle and husband Dana, deeply loved nephews Davis and Harrison, Maternal Grandfather, Harold Bauer, all of Reno, NV and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. If you met Gary once, you had a friend forever. Gary graduated from Carson High School in 1996. He was on the Wrestling, Track, and Football teams. Football was his true passion and he played as a Nose Tackle with the heart of a giant, lettering all 4 years. He wore his Letterman’s Jacket with great pride. Gary joined the Navy in 1997 with high aspirations. He attended Navy Boot Camp in Great Lakes, IL. His first deployment was on the Aircraft Carrier the USS Constellation, “Americas Flagship”. His last two deployments were spent on the USS Nimitz. In 2006 Gary received a B.S. Degree in Professional Aeronautics and in August, 2012 he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer. He made the Navy his career and was setting an honorable example for his son Gavin by proudly serving and protecting his country. There will be a Memorial Service for Gary on January 18, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at Walton’s in Carson City. A Celebration of Life reception will follow at High Sierra Brewing Company. Little Gary, you were taken from us too soon. We will miss your laugh, your smile, and your touch but we know you will always and forever live on in our hearts.
