Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for June 26. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Brugo’s Pizza Co., 3228 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Casino Fandango, bakery, 3800 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Casino Fandango, Cabaret Bar, 3800 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Starbucks, 3325 Retail Drive, Suite 200, scored 100 points.

Casino Fandango, main kitchen, 3800 S. Carson St., scored 98 points. The main ice machine had biofilm buildup inside the ice chute.

La Posada Real, Inc., 3205 Retail Drive, scored 98 points. Foods prepared on site were not properly labeled with the name of the food and the date it was prepared, and food was stored in an open can in the walk-in, corrected on site. Sanitizer solution in wiping cloth storage buckets was not set up during food service operations, corrected on site.

La Posada Real, Inc., bar and lounge, 32056 Retail Drive, scored 97 points. There were no paper towels provided at the hand sink. Cloth towels were used to wipe hands. The three-compartment sink was used to wash hands.

Snack Right Vending, LLC, 3650 Research Way, Suite 25, scored 97 points. There was no thermometers to monitor the temperatures in the refrigerated equipment. Home-style equipment was being used to store sandwiches.

Casino Fandango, Palm Court Grill, 3800 S. Carson St., scored 96 points. An outdated carton of liquid eggs was found in the grill reach-in; a staff bag of grapes was stored with customer food in the front service counter reach-in, corrected on site. Several utensil bins holding clean eating utensils were dirty inside, corrected on site.

Jack in the Box, 3225 Retail Drive, scored 95 points. There was no residual chlorine sanitizer delivered to the dishwasher during the final rinse cycle, corrected on site. There was no chlorine test strips available to verify a 50-to-100-parts-per-million chlorine residual after the final rinse cycle of the dishwasher.

Arco am/pm, 1017 N. Carson St., scored 94 points. There were no expiration dates on the boxes of frozen foods or individual packages. There was no log book of foods taken from the frozen state to the refrigerated state and any provision of the expiration dates for those foods. The three-compartment sink was completely covered by boxes. There was no certified food handler on duty.

McDonald’s, 3200 Market St., scored 89 points. The paper towel dispenser and hand soap dispenser had been removed from the front service counter hand sink. Access was partially blocked at the hand sink opposite the three-compartment sink in the rear kitchen. The thermometer inside a reach-in to the left of the kitchen hand sink was broken. There was no thermometer observable inside the reach-in to the right of the kitchen hand sink. An ice scoop was buried in the ice inside the ice machine in the rear kitchen. The basins of the three-compartment sink were not properly set up during dish washing activities. There was no measurable chlorine sanitizer residual in the wiping cloth storage bucket. The ice machine supplying the customer self-service soda dispenser had heavy biofilm buildup inside, repeat violation. There was biofilm buildup above the nozzles and inside and behind the ice dispensers at the customer self-serve soda dispenser. The cabinets under the customer self-serve soda dispenser were littered with debris and accumulating liquid. The restaurant scored 100 points on a follow-up inspection.
