There were 107 citations issued during the Carson City Sheriff’s Office’s saturation patrols held on Wednesday and Thursday.

Ninety-five percent of the citations were given for speeding. The sheriff’s office stated motorists should be reminded to pay attention to speed limits with increased traffic during the summer.

The saturations were held on State Route 28 in the Lake Tahoe area, Highway 50 West in the Spooner Summit area, south Carson Street and Fairview Drive.
