Brian Davie, who recently retired as a senior research analyst at LCB, has joined the Kenny Guinn Center for Policy Priorities in Las Vegas.
Davie worked 28 years for the Legislative Counsel Bureau, developing research materials for every legislative session since 1985.
For the past 19 years, he managed LCB’s Las Vegas office.
At the Guinn Center, he will be a Senior Fellow.
Former Senator Randolph Townsend, who serves as secretary of the Guinn Center board, said Davie’s knowledge of the legislature and the complex policy challenges facing the state will enhance the center’s ability to provide lawmakers with independent analysis on a variety of issues.
The center is a nonprofit, bipartisan center formed to provide independent, fact-based analysis of policy issues around the west.
