Conrad Gifford Sprenger entered into eternal Heaven on June 22, 2014. He was born January 14, 1929 in Los Angeles, California. He was a member of the United States Air Force from 1950 -1954 where he became an Electronics Engineer. He married Suzanne Aileen Sprenger on October 17, 1950. Following his time in the Air Force Conrad worked for KPOL radio station in Los Angeles as a chief radio engineer. He later branched out on his own and built KSOM radio station in Ontario, California. Conrad was an aviation enthusiast who logged over 5,000 hours in his private aircraft. He and Suzanne spent their last years living together in Gardnerville, Nevada with their daughter Gail and her husband Will. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Suzanne Aileen Sprenger. He leaves behind his children Gail (Will) Kolbe, Cindy (Mark) Stapleton, and Steve Sprenger. Grandchildren Tami (Aaron) Semas, Sean (Marisa) Stapleton, Sean Martin, Paige Sprenger, Allyson Sprenger. Great - Grandchildren Myles Semas, Madison Semas, Shaelyn Stapleton, Mikayla Stapleton, Kaylee Stapleton, Gianna Martin.There will be a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. on August 3, 2014 at the Douglas County Senior Center 2300 Meadow Lane Gardnerville, Nevada. In lieu of flowers the family request donations in Conrad’s name to Douglas County Senior Center.
