30 grams of meth recovered, arrest made

Thirty grams of methamphetamine were recovered and an arrest was made when the Tri-NET Narcotic Task Force served a search warrant at a Carson City residence on Wednesday.

The search warrant was served at 1103 North Nevada Street, leading to the arrest of its resident, Rachel Conley. The residence has been monitored by the multi-jurisdictional drug task force for the past several months with numerous complaints regarding drug related traffic. The Carson City Justice Court issed a search warrant. As a result, about 30 grams of methamphetamine along with scales, packaging materials, drug paraphernalia and security cameras were recovered.

Conley was arrested on suspicion of trafficking a schedule I controlled substance, level III, which if convicted, holds a 25 year to life prison sentence with no parole eligibility before 10 years. Conley was also arrested for various other felonies and misdemeanors including possession of a controlled substance with Intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug house. Conley’s bail was set at $250,000.00.

The surveillance operation was completed with the assistance of the Carson City Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Team and the search warrant operation was completed with the assistance of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Street Enforcement Team (SET). Tri-NET is comprised of a supervisor and detectives from the Nevada Department of Public Safety Investigation Division, detectives from the Carson City Sheriff’s Office and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Nevada National Guard Counter Drug Unit.
