The following information applies to the period of June 9-15:
There will be lane closures due to pavement maintenance on U.S. 395/Carson Street from Fairview Drive to U.S. 50 West (Spooner Junction) during the night hours of 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. beginning Sunday night, June 8, through Friday morning, June 13.
The Legends of the West Bike and Car Fest will begin Friday, June 13, and continue through Saturday, June 14. Road closures will occur from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday. The following roads will be closed and detours will be signed:
Carson Street from Robinson Street to Telegraph Street on Friday.
Carson Street from Robinson Street to Fifth Street on Saturday.
Telegraph Street from Curry Street to Fall Street on Friday and Saturday.
Spear Street from Curry Street to Carson Street on Friday and Saturday.
Fall Street from Telegraph Street to Spear Street on Friday and Saturday.
The following roads will experience slurry seal operations on Monday, June 9, and Tuesday, June 10, as part of the Carson City Freeway project. Operations will be a half road width at a time with accommodations provided for local traffic only.
Snyder Avenue from Roland Street to Dat-So-La-Lee Way.
Silver Sage Drive at Snyder Avenue.
Center Drive at Snyder Avenue.
Roland Street from Ponderosa Drive to Bigelow Drive.
Bigelow Drive from Roland Street to Appion Way.
Ponderosa Drive at the cul-de-sac.
Arthur Street at the Frontage Road to Lynette Lane.
Bennett Avenue cul-de-sac.
Frontage Road cul-de-sac (near Carson Lanes).
Vista Grande Boulevard will continue to be closed from Topsy Lane to Old Clear Creek Road with a signed detour. There will also be intermittent delays on Old Clear Creek Road near the intersection with Vista Grande Boulevard.
There will be a lane shift on Northridge Drive and the sidewalk will be closed on the north side of the street near the intersection with Roop Street during the weekdays.
There will be a lane shift on Silver Sage Drive between Sonoma Street and Pat Lane from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
The westbound lane on Gordon Street will be closed near N. Edmonds Drive from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. There will be flagger controlled traffic with minor delays possible.
There will be lane closures on Mountain Street just north of Bath Street due to utility work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. There will be flagger controlled traffic with minor delays possible.
The sidewalk on the north side of Robinson Street just east of Carson Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to noon Wednesday and Thursday.
