Fallon man charged with growing ‘Magic Mushrooms,’ alleged battery

A 25-year-old Fallon man was arrested Saturday morning by the Fallon Police Department on charges of domestic battery and drugs.

Tyler Perazzo will appear in Justice Court this morning.

FPD said Perazzo was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, manufacturing a controlled substance, trafficking a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shortly after 2 a.m. police responded to 98 Ferguson St., on a report of domestic violence. Once FPD arrived, a spokesman said officers smelled marijuana coming from the residence. After obtaining a search warrant, police discovered inside the house laboratory equipment used for cultivating psilocybin or “Magic Mushrooms.”

Bail is set at about $110,000.
