A regular meeting of the Churchill County School District Board will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Churchill County Administration Office, 690 S. Maine St.
Items to be discussed and that are up for possible actions include the following:
For Possible Action: Acceptance of renewal proposal from Nevada Public Agency Insurance Pool (POOL) and approval for payment from fiscal year 2014-2015 funds.
For Possible Action: Acceptance of workers’ compensation insurance coverage from AIG Insurance Company on workers’ compensation insurance, as recommended by the district’s broker, in the amount of $339,377 for fiscal year 2014-15.
For Possible Action: Discussion and possible action on the 2014 school improvement bond resolution; authorizing the issuance of the Churchill County School District, General Obligation (Limited Tax) School Improvement Bonds (PSF Guaranteed), Series 2014, in the aggregate principal amount not to exceed $9,315,000; providing the form of the bonds and for their payment; and providing other details in connection therewith.
For Possible Action: Replacement of the roofing subcontractor on the E.C. Best Elementary School renovation project.
For Possible Action: Approval of interfund loan resolution fiscal year 2014 (resolution 14-04) and fiscal year 2015 (resolution 14-05).
For Possible Action: Approval of resolution 14-06, intent to sell the Churchill County High School construction program student-built house located at 462 Discovery Drive.
