The St. Louis Rams released former Fallon and Nevada standout Harvey Dahl on Monday, according to numerous reports.
According to ESPN, Dahl’s contract was scheduled to count $4 million against the salary cap. If the Rams would have kept Dahl, they would have owed him a $2 million roster bonus.
Dahl, 32, signed a four-year, $16 million deal in 2011 after spending several season with the Atlanta Falcons. He started 39 games for St. Louis, although injuries slowed his production the past two years.
