Lost men: The past few years many inquiries have been received for lost men in the West. Most of the lost men have drifted away from home years and years ago. The Appeal received a letter asking about a lost son. It was written by an aged lady in Maine who hadn’t seen her son for 12 years. And there are men who have purposely concealed themselves from families they wished to desert or creditors they were ashamed to meet. In the hope of helping in these matters of lost relationships, the Appeal has started a regular Lost Man Department ...
