Stephanie Baumgardner, 29, of Carson City was arrested in the 3300 block of U.S. Highway 50 East on a felony count of possession of a stolen vehicle, as well as on suspicion of possession of burglary tools.
According to her arrest report:
About 3 a.m. Saturday, deputies saw a vehicle that the Special Enforcement Team had been investigating earlier in the evening. They confirmed that it had a fictitious rear license plate, and that it had been reported stolen out of Oroville, Calif. Baumgardner was arrested, and a deputy found tools often used to steal vehicles in the car.
Total bail was set at $27,500. Baumgardner remained in the Carson City Jail on Monday afternoon.
