The top of the soda dispenser was dirty. The walk-in refrigerator fan was dirty. The compressor for the main kitchen work unit refrigerator was dirty. The garbage storage lids were open. Waste oil receptacles were dirty. Floors under the cooking equipment were dirty. Thee was no certified food handler on duty.
Carl’s Jr./Green Burrito, 1315 S. Carson St., 90 points. Frozen hamburgers inside the freezer drop box were in direct contact with built-up ice on the walls of the unit. A bowl being used to dispense salsa from a large container was found in the walk-in. The basins of the three-compartment sink were not set up. Two sanitizer cloth storage buckets with no measurable sanitizer residual, corrected on site. Biofilm buildup was found around the inside of the ice chute inside the main ice machine. The storage container for the ice scoop at the main ice machine had biofilm buildup inside. Utensil storage containers and the cabinet under the front service counter soda disperser were dirty. A large amount of liquid and debris had accumulated inside the cabinet under the customer soda dispenser. Open shelving under the frozen burger drop box/grill had food debris. There was no disposable paper towels in the dispenser provided at either kitchen hand sink.
