Deputy Gary Denham of the Carson City Sheriff’s Office was awarded his motor wings by Sheriff Ken Furlong Friday after completing a five-week riding course that required him to operate a police motorcycle during normal, stressful and hazardous riding conditions.
Denham joins deputies Joey Trotter, Matt Smith, Thomas Miller and Derrick Kepler in the Carson City Sheriff’s Office Patrol Motors Unit.
