Carson City road report for Nov. 10-16

The following information applies to the period of Nov. 10-16:

The Nevada Department of Transportation will be completing road work on Highway 50 from Arrowhead Drive in Carson City to Baldwin Lane in Mound House. Work will be limited to shoulder work.

Telegraph Street will be closed between Carson Street and Curry Street due to utility work all week. Detours will be signed.

There will be work primarily in the shoulder of E. Fifth Street from Parkland Avenue to Saliman Road from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Elaine Street will remain closed to through traffic from Monday through Sunday. Motorists are asked to follow the marked detour.

There will be sidewalk work at Nye Lane between Northgate Lane and Hot Springs Road. The street will be open, but there will be parking restrictions.

There will be shoulder work on Fairview Drive south of Butti Way and on Fairview Drive south of the Fifth Street roundabout Monday through Friday. No delays are expected.

There will be shoulder work south of Hobart Road in Lakeview Estates on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

N. Lompa Lane will have a lane closure on the northbound side between Carmine Street and Sherman Lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.
