Her repertoire embraces “Lucia,” “Mignon,” the “Rose of Sharon.” Her father, Mr. Wilcox, accompanied her to America. Goldfield. Jim Sweeney is back from Goldfield, and he says here are 8,000 people and more drifting in. There is a restaurant there called The Palms with wealth of decoration, costly bric-a-brac along with orchestra and operatic music. Waiters in dress suits flit about, and there are automobiles running between Tonopah and Goldfield for a fare of five dollars ...
