The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada’s Adopt a Family program gives gifts during the holidays to its underprivileged members and their families. The club provides donors with information about the families, then cash or wrapped gifts can be delivered to the club, 1870 Russell Way, by Dec. 19. Friends to All seeks names and addresses of seniors who would enjoy a visit from Santa on Dec. 13. Donations of cash, crossword puzzle books (large print, if possible), slipper socks, gloves, hats, scarves, handkerchiefs, lotions, lip balm, calendars, packaged small food items such as candy, cookies, or nuts, gift cards from grocery or gift stores, hair salons, barbershops, or restaurants that deliver, and anything a senior may be able to use, are needed. Cash donations are used to buy grocery store gift cards for seniors in need. Checks can be made payable to Retired Senior Volunteer Program, or RSVP, with a notation of “Friends to All.” Mail or drop donations to A+ Paralegals, Inc., 411 W.
