Chamber golf tournament benefits culinary students at Carson High School

The Chamber held the fifth annual Chairman’s Golf Tournament last Friday at Silver Oak Golf to benefit Pro Start and Skills USA students at Carson High. Though the weather was cold, spirits were high and 39 golfers were able to raise $3,645 to send the culinary team to state competition in Las Vegas this coming December. The evening feast was prepared by a students and included BBQ ribs, sausages, chicken, mashed potatoes, salads, desserts and more.
